Hailing from Northeast, OH, Wednesday Demonstration is fueled by punk rock, power chords, and protest songs. They pride themselves on high-energy music and live shows. Their newest album, “A Dying First-World Nation” is available to stream now!
Singer/guitarist Chris Dum, a professor of sociology at Kent State University, founded the band in 2022. Wednesday Demonstration is the result of a childhood spent listening to Green Day and Peter, Paul, & Mary, while watching his parents protest against nuclear weapons and the School of Americas.
They’ve played local festivals like Porchrokr (2023) and Akron Pride (2022/2023), and opened for bands like Some Kind of Nightmare, Keep Flying, Grumpster, and The Prozacs.
Their music has been featured on compilations by 8UP Records, and This is Just a Record Label, and they have been on podcasts by Punk Up the Airwaves and Knucklehead Punx.
